Frei Brother’s Zinfandel is a solid wine for $19. It’s a medium-full bodied Zin with a nice, rich purple color.

Very smooth wine, from Sonoma County’s Dry Creek Valley, you will taste it’s higher alcohol content of 14.8%. Over all, this wine boasts a rich, full flavor that definitely didn’t disappoint.

Chad's Notes

I really like this wine. It has a nice, fresh blueberry flavor at the start of each sip. Nice and sweet, but not overpoweringly so. The sweetness is balanced out very nicely by slight bite at the end of the sip.

This Zin also smells amazing, with an acidic aroma mixed with strong scents of berries.

Definitely a keeper.

Lynne's Notes

I definitely enjoyed this wine with it's bright, bold blueberry flavor. That being said though, the high alcohol content balances out the sweetness for a really great finish.

I would certainly not hesitate to drink this wine again - it's definitely a good value for it's price point!
