Another offering from our favorite winery, Michael David’s 7 Deadly Zins is an amazing blend of Zinfandel’s from seven hand picked Lodi growers.
This medium bodied Zin has a touch of Petite Sirah blended in. It carries a rich red color that shows some purple tones and has a great flavor that nicely balances it’s 15% ABV.
Been a fan of this one for a while now. It has a nice, smooth cherry flavor that isn't overly fruity or sweet. It's a touch earthy on the nose and also carries a hint of a liquorice aroma.
The wine isn't dry at all, but as I mentioned also isn't excessively sweet, so it strikes a nice balance. The flavor finishes with a pleasing bite that lingers very nicely.
This is a must-drink for sure.
